June 2009 Ben & I drove to Villars in Switzerland with our Bikes we picked up Steve from Geneva airport on the way. We were there for 6 days but heavy rain on the mountain made the paths quite treacherous, the first ride from Roc dOrsay down to Bevieux was a little tricky and getting used to my new bike resulted in a couple of tumbles (First blood to me). The weather improved as the week went on and so did the trails giving us great rides.
Unfortunately my DV cam had some problems (probably due to being in the back pack) so we only got a small amount of usable footage for DVD at the top.
Cant wait till the next trip…….
Phil

I took a Specialized Enduro from The Bicycle Chain in Chapel Hill out for a test drive around town this afternoon. I was impressed by the suspension’s six inches of travel which created a very smooth ride even at moderate tension settings. I found a nice rounded six inch curb and rode back and forth over it like it was nothing.
